Hugh Donald OBE
Mediator and Coach
Hugh was formerly Managing Partner and Chairman of the Scottish legal firm of Shepherd Wedderburn. He specialised in medical and professional indemnity matters.
Hugh has been involved in mediation since the mid 1980s through his work in family mediation in Scotland. He was formerly Chairman of Family Mediation Scotland and is a trained family mediator. Accredited as a mediator with Core, he has practised for many years, coaching on various courses with Core and with a specific interest in conflict management in the workplace. Hugh is a Consultant to the Church of Scotland supporting the development of "The Place for Hope" initiative addressing conflict in the church and with a vision of creating a Centre for Peace and Reconciliation.
