Mediation in Soccer
With the World Cup imminent, it was interesting to read that the recent difficulties involving the withdrawal of the Togo team from the 2010 African Cup of Nations have been resolved by mediation.
According to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the two parties agreed to interrupt a pending arbiration procedure to allow the mediation to take place.
