International Academy of Mediators

John Sturrock became the first Scot to be inducted into the Academy in a ceremony in New York recently. 

He was awarded the status of Distinguished Fellow.

John commented: “It is good to be able to bring a Scottish voice to the discussions and global deliberations of this group of international mediators. I am honoured to have been invited to become a member of the Academy.”

 The mission of the International Academy of Mediators is to define standards and qualifications for the professional mediator of commercial disputes and to promote the mediation process as the preferred means of resolving disputes.
