Inter Government Protocol on Dispute Resolution
The Protocol bears the hallmarks of the negotiation principles of Getting to Yes.
In a week in which reporting has been dominated by disputes involving BA and the Edinburgh tram works, there was less reporting of a significant agreement reached between the UK Government and the three devolved administrations in the UK.
The Protocol for Avoidance and Resolution of Disputes is designed to provide a framework for addressing and resolving differences and disagreements among the four governments.
